Omar writes fiction, non-fiction and humor. He’s also a standup comic, leader of men/women and a consultant to thought leaders and spiritual healers. He’s a photographer, of garbage (literally). You can find some of his work on Instagram (@humiliation_city).

As a comedian, Omar has appeared in and produced shows in numerous clubs in and around New York and he won a “New York’s Funniest Lawyer” contest.

His fiction, nonfiction and humor have appeared in Mother Jones, WorldView, Yankee Pot Roast, The Big Jewel and other publications. A short story of his, Diamonds and Lemons, was selected as one of the year’s top ten online short stories by storySouth. He was also the founder and editor of the online publication The Raging Face. He is working on a novel.
